What could be more scrumptious, more luscious, more decadent than a rich dessert? A sumptuous and sweet dish would be the perfect dessert to be the topping to any feast, and this fact is known by most people, particularly those who enjoy their dessert.

Appetizers start the meal, the main dish is the main course, but desserts, they are simply paradise. There are various of terms to describe a dessert, but the most precise one, I think everyone would agree, is that it is simply irresistible.

You can have the most savorless meal or the most sumptuous steak for the main meal but they will never be absolute without a sweet conclusion. Admit it, the stringiest diet plan you have is no match for the sweet-looking masterpieces waiting for you at the end of the meal. Don’t try to fight it anymore. You can’t win a fight against a dessert.

Desserts are in many shapes and forms, textures and feel, sizes and colors.. There is the classic chocolate cake and the steamy hot apple pie with creamy vanilla ice cream on top. There is also the healthy, fruit-filled bowl. So whatever you prefer, whether you are a natural health buff or a true chocolate buff, there is always a dessert right for you.

Ask yourself this: is it fair for you to forgo the sweetest part of a meal when a soft sponge cake oozing with rich dark chocolaty syrup promptly awaits you on the table? Can you honestly say you are strong enough to refuse it?

Imagine the richest chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream topped with another serving of chocolate sauce waiting for you to finish your meal. Or a hot and sweet country style apple pie topped with a creamy vanilla ice cream that is ready to be served at your command. It doesn’t seem fair to refuse yourself such simple pleasures of life. So don’t.

Don’t try to deny it. Desserts are simply irresistible however you look at it. Don’t worry, though. Because even if you lose a war against desserts, you wouldn’t mind it in the least.

Dessert isn’t just a supplementary course, it is one of the chief features of a complete meal. Reward yourself with desserts for getting through a challenging day at work. You can also treat them as a kind signal for you to give up munching on that fat and juicy rib-eye steak. A dessert is the solution to your sanity. It’s not good for the mental health to decline yourself of the pleasures of the sweets. You may believe you are being physically healthy, but I bet you can’t stop thinking about that chocolate banana cake or that delectable blueberry cheesecake or even that fruit gateau.
