Metastatic Breast Cancer
Metastatic is actually a word that is utilised to describe a cancer that has indeed spread to various organs from the original tumor organ. In essence, metastatic breast cancer is such a cancer that is in the most advance stage of the breast cancer i.e stage IV. In this case the cancerous cells have spread from the breast at the same time as the underarm lymph nodes to other parts of the body. The cells continue to grow and multiply in their new locations.
